***ArmA 3 Thread***

Was playing on a domination server last night with all the new toys (bar the commache :() in. Think the blufor APC could do with a tad more ammo - 60 HE and 40 AP rounds gets chewed up really fast

edit - just discovered a great ammo conserving trick XD

Having a bit of trouble with my custom key mapping. Had the problem on previous builds but now there's more helicopters to fly im getting tired of it.

Iv'e set left and right pedals to Q and E respectively. Q works just fine, in activating the left pedal, however E activates the right pedal AND puts the helicopters nose downward. E is only bound to the right pedal and lean right when in infantry position. Any ideas?, it's getting tiresome.

Ok, I have put a server up running Invade and Annex with the new beta units.



Maybe we could arrange a time for everyone to jump onto it? You can use ST Hud if you wish.
 
Anyone else notice a lot of tearing in the dev branch compared to the normal one? Never had to use vsync on arma 3 before but might have to unless they can sort it somehow.
 
I still get horrible graphical issues with Clouds set to anything other than "Off" for some reason :(
 
I now have all controls sorted, still struggling in wasteland mainly because no one talks and I never really know where to go / what to do. I have killed the enemy that I have found so far. For some reason my map doesn't seem to be working properly any more, I can't see anyone on it. What are the escort / helicopter landing warnings all about?

This is a bit disappointing that more distortion from heli thrust is not there, like the bushes are doing nothing. Still a bit of a Arma 2.5 feel so far
