What have been nice but someone was always going to make generic survival with **** poor AI zombies or whatever they are. Apparently this Epoch thing won't even be seeing the light of day until the end of the year.

Anyways, I'm off to play some CTI if anyone wants to join.

There are no Z'ds in Epoch.

The Dev has confirmed they'll have something out soonish, way before the end of the year. Replied to me yesterday on Facebook.
 
Xcept1 What game types are you playing? + Do any of them allow mods such as blast core, SOS and weapon resting? or is it limiited to vanilla?

I had a few games of CTI and really enjoyed it but it would have been even better with the right mods.

Full mod list they allow:

CBA, STHud, Blastcore, Speed of Sound, JSRS, Midtexture Replacement and one that the name escapes me. It allow you look around better in jets and helicopters. Links for them are on the Download section on the EUTW site. No weapon resting unfortunately. That one is a bit unfair if you can't force everyone to use it.

Edit - Although I love Blastcore I don't use it online as it makes the smoke look awesome but if someone isn't running it they see default smoke so while you think you are concealed in the smoke someone might be able to easily see you!

TacBF is a pretty good mod, shame it doesn't quite have the user base at the moment.

Keep an eye out for a CTI event in the future using the AGM mod ;-)

Goon, I know it's not zombies they are going for but they are still having "things" melee you. We all know how the arma engine handles melee attacks yet alone getting the AI not to **** it!

Is there anything for good rag doll effects? It's really one of the only things I feel are missing. I'd love when I make a 600 metre kill from across the valley for the guy to look like that's what just happened, rather than a bit of a stuttery fall to the ground.

Other than that, had about 35 hours or so in it now and loving it. I can see why it would seem obscenely difficult if you're on your own, running around a huge map only to be shot with no idea where from, but with a friend and a bit of planning the depth just goes on and on.

Had myself all ready to join you guys for a game and my SSD decided to poop iteself, replacement due today so will hopefully get everything installed and be up and running for the weekend if you are about.
