***ArmA 3 Thread***

Oh sweet baby jesus there is a grenade key! No more fumbling with a tin of smoke to cover yourself, hopefully you can throw or drop on the run.. as so many times in Arma 2 (dayz and wasteland mostly) smoke is a case of using it to get from cover to cover and no good if you get contacted in the middle of nowhere.. and theres only so far you can throw smokes before you have to stop and launch another, especially if you messed up a throw.

Wonder if the modding will be improved as i heard a lot of mods were quite limited in some areas like animations which is why we didnt see a Jurassic park mod or such things that wernt human based.

Still on the fence on arma 3 as while it looks better and stuff its still a sim to an extent which is ok but some of the stuff i have to do when i play arma2 with a mate i wouldnt mind skipping if possible like the whole radio and channel switching and stuff, redoing gear loadouts everytime you respawn and just general stuff like that.

Again all this is solved in arma2 for years lol! What are you guys playing?

I'm going to buy this, but can't make up my mind what version to buy. The Supporter Edition could be promising, but you don't know what DLC your going to get, its a bit of a gamble.

The free ArmA X is great, if you dont have the ArmA 2 DLC's. For those who do, I dont see the value, im not bothered about Cold War Assault. £59.99 seems more of a donation to Bohemia to me.

Personally i think i'll save £30, and then pick and choose the DLC's i want as they are released.

Don't use ACRE and make a save gear script.
