I'm on the lookout for a new game I haven't played ARMA 2.
Last squad based game apart from bf3/bc2 that I enjoyed was black hawk down, probably one of the best games ive ever played with a clan, so much fun.
is this anything along the lines of that?

Just tagged along with a team who knew what they were doing and showed me the ropes, really enjoyed it, now I'm working out what all the buttons do

Performance should be good for you. With my specification, I get an average of 70 FPS on single player (without AI) and 30-40 in multiplayer. I use adaptive VSync so am locked to 30 or 60.
As for CrossFireX scaling, at the moment it's negative.

Eventually had the chance to finish the first draft of my mission...
Didn't use the task modules within ARMA as they don't work with MP properly..
Hopefully, we can get a beta run on it tomorrow night sometime, will be home after 9.30pm..
It will need a coordinated effort to complete the tasks!

Still getting a problem joining most servers I either get "can not connect to server" or when I do manage to join it wont let me pick a slot, even if I wait ages.
Is there a port that needs to be opened for arma 3? never had this with arma2 or dayZ

Yes i am up for it but it all depends what time you do the mission in the evening and what TS/mumble server you use
Yea I'd be up for that, I'm around from 9:30-10:00 tonight.
Played a bit of co-op escape from stratis last night and enjoyed it, although the second game only me and one other guy were talking.
I'd be up for that if you are short on numbers
