Fatboy, can you confirm that the xfx 5850's will drop price to sapphire's level please? Thanks.

No they more than likely to rise a little when the stock arrives.

As discussed can you please change my order to a Sapphire 5870 tomorrow if they're in first? I'm not fussed as to which card I get just want the best chance of getting one in time for xmas.

I would suggest people to wait until after xmas when prices begins to fall due to fresh supplies. Prices are still high at the moment.
However, it's a good thing people are buying now, as it will ease the strain in January's supplies.Most who wanted them would have already gotten them by Christmas.

Will keep you posted really bad delays on all shipments due to the airports etc etc.

Does anyone know what the situation is with Asus and their HD5870 's? They seem to have been out of stock since the initial stock sold out at the launch day.
