All the Sapphire cards are now out of stock. The XFX parts should be here tomorrow but it is very dependant on weather I am afraid. I will keep you all posted with any further developments..

It does not look like the XFX will be in before the new year. I will see what happens tomorrow and I will try and get you one sorted. Sorry for teh delays and the inconvenience caused.
 
Do you not think its a bit on the expensive side ?

You can find the same GPU for £198 inc VAT and Del.
You can get a 5870 for £299 inc VAT and Del

When you say chuck it in the post, i assume it wont be with DPD, and i might get it before the 30th? its not too desperate though, can run with just 1 fan to begin with.

Well we both know the answer to that:) But tbh i ordered a 5870 that took 3 days to turn up and the 5970 took 2 weeks. At that price they are going to be sold out the sec they turn up.
 
i keep ringing and phoning,
changed my 5970 from asus, to sapphire, now to powercolor, and not a single 5970 card to be seen.. almost a month now :(

There has been a back log of orders I presume, with plenty doing the same thing to try and get their hands on one before xmas.

It's unlikely that you will get them anytime soon, due to stock, posting restrictions and the adverse weather condition.

You should have went for 2x 5850, they are cheaper, perform similar if not better than a single 5970 and availability was there :(
 
O ye there £ are about in the middle. I rang a local shop and they wanted £400+ for a 5870.
Think they just try it on just incase someone buys it .
