But I have a funny feeling it won't do so well :p :(

Although I would have liked Justin Hartley to have continued the role for green arrow, thought he was superb in Smallville.
 
Didnt watch smallville, can someone explain who green arrow is and why this is worth watching? The above clip interests me :)

This is brand new, completely separate to smallville. Starts from the very beginning of how green arrow came about.

Essentially he is just a normal human being but a very good martial arts fighter with awesome bow and arrow skills (he has all kinds of arrows i.e. electricity arrows, explosive arrows etc.), fast and strong for a human and stealth skills etc. :p Also has cool gadget toys and is a billionaire playboy so in some ways he is like batman and hawkeye from the avengers :p

will take another couple of episodes for me to get into it though. Still don't think it will be as good as smallville overall though.

Also, still think Justin Hartley should have been chosen for the role :p

This seems okay so far, rolled my eyes a bit at how everyone showed virtually no emotion at him suddenly reappearing after 5 years, even the younger sister. Some of the acting is a bit clunky and of course the father of the girl who died on the boat is a cop seeking vengeance.
