Arrow Sky 1

Pilot wasn't bad, can see it will be same theme each episode as mentioned already.
Will continue to record it for those times that something better isn't on.

One thing that irked me was how he was not shot at all after the first action scene.
Surely at least 1 bullet from that range would have hit given the amount that was shot!

Also, the arrow that was transferring the money. Hunt was sayign that $40m had gone from his account, yet it was still in the process of being transferred. Surely that big screen on the arrow would have been noticed by anyone actually looking around the room!

Oh and I think that they played the mother bit at the end far too early into the series, but that could be how it is in the comics

They do seem to pool their henchmen from the same place Bond villains get theirs, i.e. they're issued with a gun, but no target practice time.

Yep, underground crime boss employs a new head of security (with guns, leather jacket and 80's style slick hair) who can't aim for ****. Good work! lol

That's rule #1 of film making isn't it?

No one can shoot, and all magazines are infinite.

:p

I do like this show though, so far even though it's going to be a rinse repeat sort of thing it's still rather entertaining.

This show is actually pretty good. Although something can be said about the acting when he's under the hood.

I have a problem with this show, isn't evidence obtained under duress inadmissible in US court?
So what-ever confessions he may garner and record would be totally useless

So the nonsense about some hooded vigilante taking out loads machine gun toting guards with nothing but a bow and arrow, that stuff doesn't bother you at all?

I switched off half through the pilot where 2 guys unloaded 2 full clips at him from less than 5 yards and managed to hit every other part of room bar the bit he was in.

Err...it's a comic book adaptation, not a docudrama.

Ok, so I should have said I have a couple of problems with this show

If you don't like it then fair enough but please don't make out like a few "silly" things ruined it completely. I could pick holes in nearly every single series and film but that doesn't have any bearing on the quality of them.

Plenty of series now will show you things that would clash time wise but they are simply there as a point of reference to stop people whinging that they "didn't show how he stole the money" etc.

So you choose to never watch any movies or series?

that happens in anything that has a 'bad guy/s' in it...

He is "different" from the smallville guy, I think I would have preferred him to play it at the start, but as already mentioned I have grown to like him. I like the flash backs, they need to branch away from the "name on a list" way of doing things or it will get cancelled like a lot of American series before it has a chance to shine. (Undercovers/Alcatraz)

I never said it ruined it, I think the show is generally ok, with some good moments.
The point I made just had me thinking though.
