I have a question re: 3x8 pin connectors and this card. At the moment, I'm running 2 x cables from the PSU (MSI MPG A850GF 850 W) with an additional 8 pin arm from one of the cables to utilise the 3x connectors. I've been running the GPU since early December without any problems.

My GPU draws 282 W max from the PSU based on readings from GPU-Z. Should I be using a third cable from the PSU and will I see any difference using one? Picture below.

Will be fine and usually the way I have done it without issue.

Hopefully I'll find out this week what is going on with mine as in Is it faulty and am I getting a replacement etc.
Probably early next week though realistically not that I'm in a rush.

My RMA card was sent back to me on Friday with OC finding no problems with it.
I installed it in my PC and within 30 minutes the drivers started crashing again. One of the errors in the AMD driver said Wattman has recovered from an error.
So I looked into that and it seems Wattman might not like running at the same time as Corsair iCue or any other fan control software.
I have now reinstalled the AMD drivers with the minimal settings and I have had zero crashes, stuttering and slow loading in games.

I also had mine returned with no problems found. I fixed the problems I did have by selling it and buying a new NVIDIA card.

Obviously some weird software thing with AMD as doesn't occur on new one (plus no random driver timeouts).

I've turned off the notifications on adrenaline as it complains something didn't start right amd had to revert settings (but doesn't look like they have reverted).
