ASROCK X570 TAICHI - THE RYZEN 3000 MOTHERBOARD GIBBO & 8 PACK RECOMMENDS

I personally never had issues with this board compared to a few on this thread. I bought it knowing it would be of lesser quality compared to an Asus board which is what I usually go for, however as most probably remember it was like £110 cheaper at launch on a different site which was a no brainer. If this does not repeat itself in the future, I will be going back to a Strix or Hero board.

Using same ram and motherboard and I can run 32gb (4 sticks) at 3800 CL16 but needs gear down on.
When I had 16Gb (2 sticks) it would run CL14.

I still haven't got round to updating to latest BIOS versions on this.

I was getting frustrated with game crashes on certain games when running my 3600MHz sticks @ 3600MHz that I just reset to all default (running at 2400MHz :/)

Anyone noticed more recent versions being more stable?

I found that later BIOSes were less stable with Zen 2. I used to be able to get 3733mhz stable on early bioses but had to drop down to 3600mhz on later versions.

I upgraded to Zen 3 and can hit much better memory speeds, running 3800mhz easily.
Damn you - I just put in an order

I had previously bought the 3700X with intention to upgrade to 3950X when it was available but never got round to it. Kinda glad I waited for Zen 3 anyway.

Can anyone do me a favor? When you "shut down" your Pac, does the debbug code show 04 before it shuts down? Its doing that now and leaving the buttons on as well as my GPU lights.

Does your motherboard Start and Reset buttons stay on after shut down?

No don't think so.

I can get this BIOS to run OK, no performance gains to be had though and high IF seems flakey. Could run 1900mhz no bother on 3.8 but crashes on 3.91.

Boost behaviour is still weak with PBO. Hits about 4.3ghz all core with PBO maxed and curve optimiser tweaked.

Any luck man, care to share any overstock settings? Can't get my ram to boot above 3600

I'm not doing anything fancy:

VSOC 1.1
VDDP 0.8
VDDG IO 0.95
VDDG CCD 0.95

LLC to Level 3 on CPU and Level 2 on SOC

I've manual set the PBO limits to 400 for everything, leaving it to auto or motherboard seems to stop PBO working.
Scalar 10x
Max boost 200mhz
Curve optimiser to -10 for strong chiplet and -20 on weaker chiplet.
