Assassins Creed Brotherhood PC release dates (UK: March 18th)

Well I got a shock when I had been merrily playing away and I had no idea I was playing the end of the game till the credits rolled

I still have shops to open, various items to collect for shop quests, at least one more Leonardo quest (not got the parachute yet) and loads of other stuff to play.
Had I known better I would have declined some of the memories for the key of the castle after the Colosseum which eventually led on towards Desmond in the modern day part2.
So beware as I thought I could activate some of the earlier 50% syncs and carry on from there but it wasn't possible.
luckily I have a restore programme installed and used it to go back 2 days where I can carry on and complete the other stuff :D

You can still run around the world finishing stuff up after.

Should let you save and carry on playing the game (It did for me anyway) You just have to watch ALL the credits till it's done rolling, should then jump you back in to the game.

too late now I'm replaying from an earlier bit, just played Leonardo's naval cannon battle which I had no idea about so should find lots more stuff now:D

finished it in 28 hours!
Did pretty much everything and a lot of exploring. I can't remember how long AC2 was tbh.(especially with that rubbish dlc, which made the game drag out too much for me, without adding anything storywise)
i am very pleasantly suprised by this game. Although, i knew it would be good, as they seem to have got the formula correct in terms of gameplay. I didn't expect it to be better tha AC2, but it is imo.

Leonardo's flying machine mission was a tad annoying though

I'm amazed at how much more there is after the ending credits when you get put back into the game with the ' restored memory' locations appearing on the map, I've discovered there's the Christina missions + five returning Leonardo's stolen painting missions so far so just when you think it's all over - it's not :D

Can you free roam and mess about?

You have to leave the credits rolling & go and have your tea as they go on forever, when it's over you automatically get put back in the game to continue where you left off before you started the final memories.
Use the Uplay rewards on the first splash screen to activate the Da Vinci disappearance series of 8 memories etc.

Is it good to invest into shops then? also i only been playing 5h or so and on the map i get an icon of like a cross shaped vine that's twisted and the usual "!" so does it matter which ones you do first? i guess those others are the stolen painting missions?

You can play the game as you like, see something and go for it. I think you should do an exclamation mark every so often though as it will progress the story and unlock new items (especially armour and weapons).

I am loving this game, quick question - has anyone had a Bogia tower thing that after killing the sargent and climbing the tower there is no option to burn it? I have made two attempts at the same tower, killed the main man and then the first time I ran and hid because there were too many guards chasing me, when I went back a while later there was a new sargent so I killed him and climbed the tower but it was not glowing and I did not get the burn option - have I killed the game or am I doing it too early or something?

invest all your money in shops! they are the best way to earn money. invest, and after 20 minutes, most of your investment will be back, visit a bank and continue to invest. that way, if you can't afford something, keep playing for 20 more minutes and you will be able to :D

I'm stuck in the Romulus lair 'Wolf in sheeps clothing', I chase the cardinal down the passage & he jumps up the rope pulley thing so I jump up & across onto the platform & into the next room where I jump across some brackets & onto another hanging platform.

I need to jump off the corner onto the wall but the stupid camera angle won't let me & I can only jump either side & fall to the ground, camera angle keys won't work a soon as I land on the platform, even with first person view when I look at where I want to jump & run at it & end up jumping sideways as usual
luckily this part has stopped the timer as the cardinals symbol is flickering behind the wall as he's waiting for me to appear.
Anyone else had this?
think I'll restart the memory & try again.

I wonder how many sad boys have missed this brilliant game because of refusal to buy games with DRM

I know. I almost feel like starting a thread trying to persuade people to look past the drm issues that ubisoft have had, because they are missing out on a truly great game if they don't get it because of that.
