Black flag was awesome in every way.
 
Another one...already?....They've gone so far off track with these :(

should have stuck to the original idea of 3 games to the series.

Ubisoft are making a fortune out of AC, they wont be stopping any time soon. in fact, before the announcement they said they had three AC titles in the works.
 
Well, considering they have to get more recent with every game (assuming they stick with how the current story is developing), surely they're getting to the point where they only really have 3-4 "settings" left before they get to modern day?

WW1, WW2, Vietnam, Gulf War?

And to be honest I can't see any of those working particularly well with the game style (lets face it, when the setting is majority gun combat rather than melee, it's going to be just like every other 3rd person shooter out there...)

It's got to die soon! :p
 
There are loads of settings you could have, history is not just about recent wars and ninjas :rolleyes: I doubt renaissance Italy would be at the top of many peoples lists and that era was something of a success for AC.

I know what you're saying but the renaissance period isn't that different when it comes down to weapons .etc

Ninjas would be completely fresh looks and weapons
 
I really hope the single player story is excellent, all the footage I've seen and heard it about is more about 4 player co-op.
 
This is finally out next Friday. Anyone else excited? Black Flag was my first proper AC game and I loved it. I know this will be different as it's just in one city, but having finished Shadow of Mordor recently, and enjoying Black Flag, I can't wait for this.

Where is everyone pre-ordering from? I'm going physical copy for this as I'll trade it when done, looks like Amazon is the best bet at the moment.
