Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Probably late november onward, the US often refer to Thanksgiving as Holiday , so anytime from then on I'd say. Wouldnt be surprised if its the last week of November

Looks like there is a "base building" element this time too... "Construct and upgrade buildings in your settlement, including Barracks, Blacksmith, Tattoo Parlour and more"

Am I the only one who didn't like the trailer? From the white washing of the vikings to the ****** song choice, it was simply meh. Even just for pure visual spectacle it was subdued and not very interesting. Not that it matters, the game is what matters but that sucked.

I enjoyed the trailer, it was visceral and gave me all the combat and viking-esque thrills I wanted. I didnt really hear the music as I was entertained by the visuals (I'll go back and have a closer listen to the music choice) and I couldnt give a damn about whitewashing or social/political items in an entertainment product, I seek to just be entertained, thats all, I look elsewhere for my political and social interests.

There...preordered the Gold Edition, £67 with the 20% off :D

Now to rewatch the Vikings tv series between now and release date to build up to it lol

It's not even about socio-politics, it just bugs me how disneyesque they keep things. Not even a hint of greyness, only pure black & white morality and depictions. It's so lame.

I can see what you are saying (though it is difficult to know whether the game itself has greyness within the storyline from a trailer) , its just that I dont care, not from a video game. If it was a more cerebral form of input then I would care, but doesnt bother me in the slightest in a computer game.

Settings on those screenshots look on the lower side of what I expected. Looking at that snow, it looks like its got the snow movement effects of Tomb Raider/Red Dead

Great, so incredibly hyped for another copy and paste POS from Ubis%#@!, makes me all warm inside

Hehehe...think of it this way, if you love the taste of a Whopper from Burger King, you want the next one to taste the same too, dont want a Classic Coke situation :D

(of course, if you dont like the taste of what you had previously then you'd probably not like the taste of the next burger either)

I hope these games aren't going to suffer with all the flippin' platforms they have to cater for!

Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Epic Games, Uplay and Stadia
