Assetto Corsa Competizione

So, I'm trying LMU.

GT3's at the Spa track.
  • ACC I'm easy 2:16's to 2:17's depending on the track conditions
  • LMU - I'm 2:24's to 2:23's and the default AI's are doing 2:18 to 2:17s :(
I'm driving similar braking points, lines, acceleration points to ACC, with some small adjustments for gearing and different track limits. The car appears and feels at the limit. I've tried both the LM and Coach Dave setups.
How can I be 5-6 seconds off lap pace?

2:22 is my times around spa acc. You are fast!

Lmu has different physics and feel so you won't be as fast as in acc

The GT3s are different spec. Came up on a review on You Tube (think I was James Baldwin?). Reduced power, torque and different aero as well obviously the sims physics etc. Not sure, however, whether that explains why the AI is still lapping so much quicker?

Yeh different spec GT3s in LMU, that said I'm doing high 2:17s on LMU so it's possible.

The thing with LMU and rfactor 2 is that you can feel like you're pushing the car but in reality you're not at all. I drive so much more aggressively to find time in LMU than in other sims, particularly in terms of sharp steering inputs, I turn the wheel in corners much more than in other sims as there always seems to be grip available right up until the point the tyres starts screeching.

Oh and the default TC settings are way too high on all the setups including the ones used in the fixed series. General rule of thumb is to start with TC, TC Cut and TC Slip all set to 5 and adjust from there to your tastes.

Yes, I was just watching the JB video - it caught him out too

Basically Fanetec GT World Challenge GT3’s are quicker cars as they don’t run a torque limiter.
That explains the time gap I’m experiencing between the games.

I’ve also been playing LMU more this evening, dialling in the settings and am down to high 2:19 to low 2:20’s at Spa now, with more time to gain.

does anyone know how to install ACC connector correctly because i can never get it to instal hook.
whenever i try to install hook i get this
ACC-Connector-0-9-13-11-01-2025-12-42-21.png

the install directory is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Assetto Corsa Competizione" its as it said by LFM. acc servers offline yet again any help much appreciated as been trying to get this to work for weeks.
