Sorry to hear it bud, annoying when silly accidents happen because people have no idea what they're doing on the road.
I always lift off on gearshifts unless I'm driving a paddle shift car - sounds horrible hearing the engine rev whilst changing gear!Is it good to lift off during up-shifts or am I showing too much mechanical sympathy?

R.I.P virtual clutch/gearbox :'(I don't, unless it causes damage or makes the car kick out.
You have to use an h-shifter with the 49 Petey...where's your dedication man!
Good, so it's not just me then. I've only driven the 312T and Ferrari F2007 properly so far and must say I winced during the first couple of up shifts in the little Lotus when I kept the loud pedal down.![]()
DFGT or DF Pro? Nothing wrong that![]()
Speaking of... Did they ever make the F2008?
If only... https://sketchfab.com/models/7765b19239354c5394f164e6309fbd35
It works and you're enjoying yourself. That's all that really matters.
Yeah, they're pretty good for the price. Been using a T300 for a couple of years.
