Assetto Corsa

That update looks incredible!

Anyone else having crossfire issues on latest build. I get an instant hang and have to hard reboot with it enabled but its all happy days on a single card

Not for me, no.
I just get very low gpu usage across 2 or 3 cards whenever there are other cars on track (AI or Multiplayer) and it can be a bit 'lumpy'.
When hotlapping alone, there's proper scaling/usage with fps to match.
Single card works great in all scenarios.

Gonna experiment with a few xfire profiles. This issue has been going on for far too long now.

ED: Not to mention certain apps cutting up to 100fps odd with xfire... Simple apps like delta/lap times etc.

I've found a lot of issues can occur if your running anything with an overlay, like MSI Afterburner.

Though it seems ok with it now.

You can also get weird GPU usage depending which reflections you use. With one car you need to max it out, but with AI on track you have to turn it down or off.

i will see if i can find it buddy had it sent to me while waiting for my wheel... just raced and was in a good mix with it in the formula abarth

How are you guys finding online play?

Public lobbies are usually pot luck in most racing games, but I'm finding this to be a bit of a urine extractor.
Qualifying sessions are usually good, with most people recognising that someone's on a fast lap and will usually move aside. Then there's the odd clueless **** that will hold the line regardless, even if he's on an outlap ...

Don't get me started on the usual 1st corner idiocy from people that don't know or don't care about braking when there are cars in front of them

It doesn't help that I come from an organised FM4 league background and run a stewarding team, I suppose, but you'd think that this game on this platform generally caters to those who have more of a clue?

Sorry for the rant, it's just doing my nut when you spend 15-30 minutes qualifying and then some utter **** just slams you off on the first couple of corners on a regular basis and/or you witness it happening to others.

Time to find an organised league.

I'm also Uncle Petey on Steam if anyone wants to add me for some clean racing :)

Try out racedepartment for decent racing, I've done a few races on there and they're generally clean and good fun.

It maybe expensive and the physics aren't to everyone's taste, but if you want to race online with ransoms, then it's got to be iRacing.

I haven't race AC online at all, for the exact same reasons you mention above.

I'll check out the racedept forums, cheers :) Already a member for teh modz etc.
I've thought about iracing, but I dunno... Perhaps if there's a trial or something?

Just had a quick online race @ Mugello in GT3's. Got blocked twice in qually and lost the best part of second on my quick lap.
The race itself started out ok. There I was keeping it clean and having a half decent race until some donut went wide and proceeded to punt me off with a sideswipe on his rejoin... I carried on after the slow down penalty while he sailed past, only to catch him up half a lap later where he decided to go unbelievably slow and force me into evasive action and off the track... Sigh.

Or you race with a known group of friends.

Online I only race as part of a group of 5 friends, mucho fun to be had mixing & matching cars.
