Assetto Corsa

Should do with the VGA adaptor.
Very sweet for the price if it does.

Not sure if you'll need a power supply, as it only mentions a 'power cable' which I assume is meant to go in the lighter socket.

After reading a few of the comments, I think you may have to get creative.

I posted the wrong one up, meant to be this one, same model but better resolution. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00QWF0764/ref=s9_dcacsd_bhz_bw_c_x_1

Only reason I'm going this route, is because opening the apps in screen kills my performance because of crossfire. Hopefully doing it this way will bypass the need to put all the apps on screen.

Digiprost uses one with the Z1 Dash software, looks awesome, got 80 odd different styles for different cars. Will get the screen and download the demo.

Have you considered Dashmeter pro for android on your phone/tablet? I use it alongside onscreen apps.
Either that or seeing about a cheap monitor on the MM for Z1?

I guess you could get a cheap DC 12-24v PSU on the bay or something if you're alright with electronics.

yep I looked at Dashmeter pro but was a fiver, and the biggest android device I have is my Xperia Z6 which will be far to small I think.

I do have a small 17" LCD screen in the loft, but it'll just look weird having the rev counter and essentials off to the side.

It's very customisable and you can have plenty more info in there than that, such as tyre info, how many laps worth of fuel left etc, etc..

Been a while, but I don't recall the essentials app messing with FPS when I had xfire fwiw.
Maybe things have changed, or I remember wrong.

Your Z6 is fine dude.
5.2" is plenty for a dash display.
I use a 5" phone and can read the display easily at 3-4 or more feet away no probs.

any app that has moving digits seems to play hell with my performance. On average it's well up above the 100fps mark maxed out at 1440p, but putting any timing or leaderboards etc on, tanks my frames down in the 50's

I had 290's and ran AC @1440. I ended up just making an AC profile to disable xfire and the game ran fine as far as I remember.
Just turn reflection frequency down to low or medium and keep everything else maxed.

Still, take a punt on Dashmeter either way and have a play with it on your phone. You may be surprised :)

purchased the Dashmeter Pro last night afterwards, took a punt on it, it's very very good :). Really good customisation, no latency, has got everything I need. Great recommendation.

well starting to get to grips with the handling a bit . whats a decent time for the zonda nurberg tourist ?

need something to aim for :p

think i will buy the new dlc later.enjoying this.

will do matey.

Just had a morning/afternoon on this racing with Josh86. finally figured out how to setup with port forwarding etc and got the server setup working a treat, great fun.

I was telling that to Dg, but do it anyway :D

You found Dashmeter features like it highlighting when you're up on your delta and flashing for low fuel and stuff?

well trying nord with the nissan gtr down to 7:14 after a few goes with default so hoping to get closer to 7 minutes with practice. how do i change gearing and such :p

See that spanner icon when you load into the track or go back to pits? Go wild.

It being a road car, however, you probably can't adjust the gearing.

k found some set ups will give em a go tomorrow. god damn hot work . :D

also anyone looking for a cheap wheel there is a cheap t150 on hotdeals.

Yeah, the delta highlight especially is almost essential.

Tried RSR yet? I haven't used it for a while myself.
Just wondering if it affects fps with xfire.

Delta highlight? How do i do that?

I've mine set like this at moment, it's so helpful when racing.
