Assetto Corsa

cheers petey was looking at that earlier.:p

seen about lag issues it can cause may try later see how it goes.suprised something like secctor times isnt added for up and down should be pretty simple.

In case anyone is interested im running a server on Assetto Corsa. Its only a few days old but if you guys want to join the server is called "RedCoats EU Server MR-ABCN"

Anyone is welcome (within the limits of the minorating). The server tonight is Ford Escort RS1600 at Brands Hatch GP :-)

starting to like the cayman gt4 (not a big porsche fan :p)

fun to drive and starting to get to grips with pushing it a little now.can actually slide it a bit round corners. so did a clean lap of nords. will keep pushing to see what i can get.

What realism settings is that? I can't push the GT4 anything like that around on the track with stability control off without it behaving extremely erratically in the corners.

that looked stable to me?, maybe a touch to much steering lock needed so front tyres might be scrubbing, but im not familer with the car.

i think gt4 category uses driving aids anyways?

if your struggling it might be your transitions its easy to be brutal off the brakes and not realise it, or put to much lock on and scrub the front tyres, which my dad does, then when they grip your turn much more than you wanted xD

also as its a 2 peddle car just wear socks no shoes :)

isnt that the one with a invalid suspension set up ?

i know i tried one and it said invalid.once you get the traction off and can push the car you can slide it and its a great car to have fun in.i think its best porsche at the moment to drive.

not many of the others i like if im honest.

All you have to do is raise the ride height until it isn't invalid.
That setup isn't invalid though. With the fuel load, it's right on the edge.

Wasn't about the car in the video other than in the videos they seem far more stable - when I try the GT4 with the settings I use - which are pretty punishing but fairly realistic - the GT4 is all over the place very skittish and unpredictable (while most other cars are demanding but relatively predictable with these settings) so wondering what settings people are using for those just over 7 minute times.
