I originally planned on a custom loop but my nephew and I have never done custom loops before so thought this was safer and I can always add the eiswolf to the loop when I get a compatible gpu

masking tape! tape the back support to the mobo. makes life a lot lot easier

most AIO units, their backplate is securely mounted to the board, then the unit mounted to the bracket, alphacool goes for a sandwich method - guessing due to their kits being able to cover a vast amount of sockets with less kit

Who runs their pumps or fans @ 100% ? I have to run my D5 vario @ 1/5 otherwise its too noisy and I would want to lower it some more, its even way too noisy right now, same with the fans anything over 500rpm is appalling and unusable.

Even Alphacool the makers of the units recommend to run the pumps 100% .. as it makes no sound...
Never said anything about running fans 100%...

The pump on my 360mm Eisbaer was silent as well

Didn't use the included fans as I've bought some after market ones
