Could open it up and check? It’s all easy to connect

They stuck a TechCentre void sticker over the screws. If I opened it, would void CEX warranty. So was best to just return it.

Toying with the idea of getting an Ally (non-Extreme) to play older games, indies, 2D games etc. I know the non-Extreme chips get a lot of hate, but wondering if it would be ok for this use case? I'd also defo install Steam OS on it when it becomes available.

There's a $150 delta between the E and non-E over here, but I don't mind ponying up for the E if it's worth it!

Just ordered an Ally with Z1 extreme on these £399 deals. Think I would like steam os on it straight away.
What's the easiest way to get Steams OS on it now? Is it as much of a pain as it looked to be a while ago?

Bazzite is the way to do that m8. There's plenty of YouTube guides, it's not something I've done myself though.

Has anyone come across the issue of gpu getting stuck at 800mhz, also it won’t reach the wattage I’ve set even if I make a 18w profile it will only go to about 14w and my fps drops

Mine sometimes goes a bit crazy but turning it off then on again sorts it out.

Yeah doesn’t seem to work for me or it’ll be fine for about 10 minutes then stop again, tried reinstalling graphics drivers but nothing works

Hi guys. Anyone know of a monitor that will work with freesync and rog ally in a dock? I know it's probably not possible but if anyone knows you guys will. Never mind got it working in the end with the one I had.
