The lack of vertical really is the worst thing about 34in Ultrawides, the 38 def fixes this so the upcoming 39" 39GS95QE OLED LG one should be pretty awesomesorry was actually thinking on bigger than 34” oleds. Don’t like the vertical size of 34s
Uhhh gonna check that oneThe lack of vertical really is the worst thing about 34in Ultrawides, the 38 def fixes this so the upcoming 39" 39GS95QE OLED LG one should be pretty awesome
Yes, that won't bother me though as it'll roughly have the PPI of my current PG42UQ and that is fine. It’s a 39 but still 1440 height
They can get stuffed if it is $1500
Guessing this boils down to a lot more people buy a £1500 OLED TV compared to a £1500 OLED gaming monitorYikes, why gaming monitors lagging so far behind TVs LG should lean into the gaming series a bit more
Both go comfortably to 4k@240Hz with DSCThey're only coming with DP1.4a (HDMI2.1), which as standard only go up to around 4k@120hz (144hz with DSC).
WOLED just doesn't seem to have the colour coverage of QD it seems, esp this gen. Give me a semi-gloss highly vibrant screen any day!!I'm interested to see how this and the LG pannel compare, as its going to be a instasale on one of them.
I'll end up buying both at this rateWOLED just doesn't seem to have the colour coverage of QD it seems, esp this gen. Give me a semi-gloss highly vibrant screen any day!!
I suspect that competitor might have an exclusive for a defined period of time. Hope OCUK will stock it - I'll wait for the price to come down to ~£1k.@NikTheSHNIK may be able to help, he'll post if he has anything solid I expect. Doubt he'll want OcUK's major competitor to hoover up all the pre-orders...
Yup, he'd have replied by now if he had any solid info (just how he tends to roll). They don't really involve themselves in the forum anymore.I suspect that competitor might have an exclusive for a defined period of time. Hope OCUK will stock it - I'll wait for the price to come down to ~£1k.
