There was one going on here for £550 or so - thats around 25% increase in price for a similar increase in performance I guess.

Depends on your setup. I got shot of my 1080 for the V64 and couldn't really be without adaptive sync now... and poke paying a Gsync tax for no reason :rolleyes:
 
Sold my 1080ti for Vega 64, needed it for work and also wanted to invest in something that would improve with time, sure the 1080ti is faster now, the games deal did it for me 3 games and strix VEGA 64 for 450, sold the games already so badibasicvega for £400~
 
just ordered one, but it didnt say anywhere and im struggling to find any info on recommended power supply. i currently have a evga g3 gold 750w psu and eed to know if i need to uprgrade that too.

almost 100% certain that you'll be fine. have a hunt though the thread below for settings to undervolt (and improve performance!)
