thought I'd drop this in here as I think its relevent
using the standard 2d/3d speeds/voltages and fans at 100% anyway I keep getting (randomly) my screens going blank (I've two) and showing "no signal from cable" or words to that effect. atm I'm only playing EVE Online so don't know if it's the game or what is causing it but its getting on my **** now and would like any help anyone can provide!
temps don't seem to be hitting 70 or even 65, apart from VR t (whatever that is) gets
close to 60 when I'm playing.

E6300 @ 3.2

ideas?

GPU temp during game : max 67c
VR t during game: 68c

Thats 99% core issues.

up the V or down the clocks or up the fan speeeeed

happens even at 2D stock? up the V on that too?
I'll give the core a welly and see how it goes, hope its not gonna melt down on me!

hmm, I'm getting texture issues now, thought that was a mem thing, voltages still as above, should I up them a bit?

Can you test at 2D clocks?

Card might be slowly dying so you might have to work up from there again.

Cleaned the card recently? Place a fan over the entire card? FYI my temps are Core: 60C Env: 40ish C and Regs: 50Cish

yeah cleaned the card out the other day, got rid of all dust etc and gave the fan a WD40 so it stopped making a noise.
I'll have a think about playing with 2d and moving up but need a day to do it

I assume thats without ATT running and without any of the services running so its 100% running stock clock stock V?

If thats true then its shagged. RMA time.

Ok i know this is fairly old...but im having trouble with some aspects of the overclocking.

My problem is the voltage control, The memory volts will go up and down and stay there when i click apply, but the Core voltage will not change at all, and resets to the 1.300, is this normal for a x1800xt 512mb card?

so the core volt is stuck on 1.300 and the memory seems to like 2.0970
