Drivers
Omega Drivers Site - For 98/ME/2000/XP
I strongly recommend using these drivers!!! They use the latest ATi Drivers which then are slightly modified, old control panel added and ATi Tray Tools added aswell. Its everything a ATi user needs.
Standard ATi Drivers - For 98/ME/2000/XP.
CCC (Catalyst Control Center) has issues with ATi Tool 3D Detection - I don’t recommend using Standard ATi Drivers unless using Crossfire, then I think you need to use ATi Drivers + CCC.

I'm just curious if there is still limited crossfire support on the OMEGA driver set. I'm pretty fed up of CCC and I'd like to have crossfire running in OMEGA. Any recommendations?

Fraid not still stuck with ATi + CCC because of crossfire support :/

Is it the 90nm or 80nm core?

I think its the 90nm but here are the core/mem/mem buffer voltages for each.

90nm: 1.475-1.5/2.16/within 2% of mem V - depending on temps, try and keep it under 70C.

80nm: 1.425-1.45/2.16/within 2% of mem V - depending on temps, again try and keep it under 70C.

Its 90nm, i had to put the voltage up on it to 1.4750 to get 688 on the core with ATI tray tools with no artifacts. And 1.9793 on the memory to get 945. Not really a bad clock could have done better but its good enough, with out killing my card lol :p.

Im running a sapphire X1800XT with arctic cooler X2

Catalyst 7.1 drivers
ATI Tool 0.26

I am currently running 700core 800memory with default voltages

voltages show the following in ATI tool-

Vgpu 1.375
Mvddc 2.097
Mvddq 2.097

I idle at around 54/55 and load goes to around 71 highest in gaming. Should I try raising the Vgpu a bit to get more on my core clock?

71 is getting on the hot side tbh, can you get it lower? Fan speed @ max?

1.4-1.425V is fine tho...

X1950Pros apparently don't have any voltage control, they stay at 3D voltages all the time

the latest I had heard that they found some form of voltage control but cannot find any way of controlling it :(

I used this guide many a time to try and setup my x1900xt and it really helped. Just recently got a accelero x2 and what how good are they !

Struggled to run at 660/775 before on the stock cooler with added volts here and there. Now it'll crack 700/850 on standard volts with really low temps.

Great cooler, wish I'd have bought it a lot sooner.

you know on this ATT, overclocking setting, u say their are 3 tabs, I only have 2, no voltage tab on mine

HIS X1950 PRO pcie

like Concorde Rules said, no voltage control on the x1950pro's.

some have a voltage table in the bios but our card doesn't (HIS card) and our card doesn't have the hardware to support voltage changes either so using another bios that does have a table wont help either (i tried lol)

also our pcb is different from the reference card so the voltage mod is a bit different too and i've not figured it out yet.

so no voltage increase just yet.

My connect x1900xtx clocks to 689/797 using CCC and nowt else. Runs at around 80degrees C (which seems hot to me). Ran 3d mark 06 with it and got 6023 but during the penultimate graphics test the whole screen kept going white!? so will lower the clocks a bit :)
What kind of max Temps do those of you using the stock cooler get?

Just uninstalled the newest Catalysts so I can go back to doing things this way, there's now a "memory io" voltage control in ATT which I can't remember being there before. Is this best left on the default (2.0861)?

The GPU voltage doesn't seem to want to change from 1.2v either (edit: Got this sorted now by enabling the Hotkey Poller and letting ATT close it).
