ATi's R600 Tech demo (pics)

That does look absolutely awesome but the motion blur is horrible for stills.

Never thought of it before but I bet motion blur will make screenshots in games like Crysis a nightmare.

R600, according to the latest news is a 65nm GPU @ up to and beyond 1ghz speed  (which will use 1/3 less power than a 80nm version) + 1 gig of GDRR4 Phew! sounds like the 8800 cards will have serious competition.

theres always a new card around the corner
but if ati give a big enough lead then nvidias new series may have a problem

Jesus there's always one kid who wants to ruin a thread isn't there. :(

Looks like ATI are finally doing something right this year, obviously hurts agnes so much he has to lash out.

We all know its gonna happen anyhow, soon as ATI launch the R600 range of cards and get any form of attention we will see Nvidias new King arrive yes could be faster and better but hey its the way things always happen.

The move to 65nm GPU will make the difference esp if it is clocked at say 1.4 ghz, my guess is ATI could hold top spot for quite a while and btw I'm no fan boy of any firm. Bought a 7800gtx a few years ago and have nothing bad to say about that or nvidia.
