Thanks as i am looking to lease, i already asked a few agents to search for the 1.4 SLine Stronic with Comfort pack, Sat Nav,Climate Control and Heated Mirrors (Surprised there not standard in such a car) , it does look like with this spec i may have to wait for a new one which would be late January

The paddles are only £95 and can quite easily be "thrown in" but I do agree that the 185 should come with them as standard.

One of the critical reasons I bought my A1 185 (S Line S Tronic etc) was for the Lumbar support on both the driver and passengers seat. Unless anything has changed this isn't an option at all on any of the other models that share the same platform.

The price is relatively high (especially once you start on the options) but then the quality of the end product is also much higher than its direct contempories. The A1 interior is a marked improvement over the Polo (especially in the materials used), a large improvement over the Seat (main dash area and especially the doors) and the less said about the woeful interior on the vRS the better (seriously who designed the interior on the Fabia?).

Oh I have an extra 5PS as well and my car looks like Darth Vaders helmet :p

One point for the op - If you do go for one try to aim for the A1 1.4TFSI (122) Sport S Tronic with connectivity pack* and Xenons. You get the best engine / gearbox combo south of the 185 and plenty of kit to keep you happy. The Xenons also finish off the front end and are a lot better than the standard headlights.

*This gives you: Bluetooth, Sat Nav Prep, AMI, steering wheel buttons, voice control and an extra SD card reader for the MMI (6.5" colour display).

I just bought an A1 1.4 S-Line yesterday.... will have it ready next weekend.

For my first car... I am massively excited :D

pretty much in my experience

Not in mine. I drive an A3 and had two A1s in the space of a week as courtesy cars. I wasn't overally impressed with either the space inside or the boot capacity. Also I thought the little screen on the dash looked really out of place as if it was an after thought. You could probably do a lot worse for a small car but I thought they were overpriced.

Great, Can't wait :) Spoke to a few leasing agents about mine, but will now wait for the sportback which arrives early next year.

Took delivery of my A1 1.4 TFSI S-Line yesterday in White, will post some pictures in a bit :)

Our long-term 185PS A1 went back yesterday, sad to see it go.

Kind of glad, though, because it was getting a bit tricky on roads that were slightly greasy :D Not sure I'd want to drive it through winter.

Leave the junction you say? No, only when I've scrabbled around for a minute or two!

Here we are guys.... :)

Few more in the album here, taken on a mobile phone so not the greatest pics.

Was spec'ing one the other day, for the G/F to replace the Punto, diesel, s-line, ended up over 25k for reasonable spec .
Madness, over priced, then noticed loads of pre reg cars much cheaper, so resale values don't look promising.
The Volvo C30 looks a better option :p

25K, What options were you going for?

What is the spec of the punto you are replacing?
