Well I've picked up my new-to-me A6 3.0 TDI Le Mans!
Very pleased with it so far coming from my Mondeo

Thanks! I'm very pleased so far!
Sod all, the A6 Le Mans is just a specced up badge engineered special edition s-line that commemorates Audi's Le Mans win.

the A3 quattro isint permanent 4 wheel drive though. No one will probably be interested but 2 months into ownership my A3 TFSI has cost me a fair few quid. Its had
New xenon Bulbs (£140)
Refurb ballasts (£200)
Diverter valve (£45)
Rear wiper motor (£75)
Rear wiper arm (£25)
Fuel pump cam follower (£35)
Got stuck in the snow up a steep hill even with Quattro wheels were just spinning but the clutch was stinking so that will probably be next job although not slipping yet
I had a 2002 Leon Cupra 4 with Haldex and it was brilliant in snow.the A3 quattro isint permanent 4 wheel drive though.
it has the haldex differential and lots of electrical sensors and yaw controllers to tell it when to put power to the rear wheels.
when your throwing it into a corner its great at putting power down to what end needs it to get you round the corner without putting you into the scenery but there useless in the snow..
my skoda Octavia scout was the same. hence why I went for the A4 quattro with permanent 4 wheel drive this time.
Snap!

Did you have winter tyres?
Really? I went snowboarding in Norway over New Year and it was fine. The Haldex with ESP enabled is pretty useless, I've always turned it off when the snow has been bad or I get a little stuck.
