You're not accusing someone of being overly pedantic are you Fox?

The points he'll be making is the age of the design and lack of full MMI etc doesn't make it worth the asking price (in his eyes), they are all valid points to be fair. But, if you want one you want one and thats the going rate.

How much more usable space does the A1 sportback give over the normal SB? Just thinking if practicality is important then the A3 would have been the better bet?
Anyway heres my new chariot!

I present you my new company car, its a Audi A4 Avant SE technik, sadly a zzzzzz 2.0 diseasal. Whats even more sadder and depressing.......I actually like it! Ive specced a few bits and bobs like heated seats, adaptive xenons and the tech pack high, which means it has the fancy satnav with the bigger screen and can play dvds and video's of the Ipod/SD cards.
The MMI system is actually quite impressive, and as usual the fit and finish inside is superb, its a very nice place to be. I like the way it looks too.
Sadly the plus points end there, it rides well enough and handling is ok, but jeez why the hell do all VAG cars have naff all steering feel.It really is the equivalent of a grey suited marketing executive.
But I didnt choose it for its dynamic ability, it was the best of the bunch for the price, had Volvo been able to put a decent manual gearbox in the the V60, i'd have had one of those!
