Audi owners in here!

"One careful Iranian owner" lol

I don't mind the colour strangely.. Makes a nice change from all the white, black and silver cars you mainly see here. There were not many for sale either, especially not for this budget. Mats may be a bit tatty on the edges, but the interior is not bad for 100k on the clock.

My interior is immaculate (condition of switchgear, mats, carpets, seats) and has done 133,000 miles :/

I'd certainly be giving that leather a feed if I were you!

How old is your A6 though...couple of years?

Put it this way, if you drove your car to the moon and back its not as if you will be getting in and out your seat and roughing up the carpets at the same time. All depends how its been used I guess. :p

yeah, while its a 2003, the previous owner must have had claws or something to wear out the switch gear and radio buttons as they have been.. I have had cars with much more mileage but none of that.

Anyway, its superficial and easily replaced, which i'll do if I keep the car long.

Talking of switchgear, I do find VW and Audi seem to exhibit more wear, my family has an obsession for Audi A2's and all bar one, has had badly worn climate panels, electric window switches etc, and many of my taxi mates who run Passats seem to have the same issues.

Picked it up on Saturday and drove it back here to France. Lovely car.

In before the "you parked like crap" yes, I know this.

Just got a nearly £700 bill to replace all the pads and discs on my A4, after only 26k on the clock as well.
Not many miles on the clock to tear up a set of discs but the car was parked up for over a year and that did let them rust up pretty badly.
Still tempted by an upgrade but a 5 year old car with 26k on the clock is worth more to me that it is to anyone else trade in.

Did you take it to Audi?

yeah they wanted almost the same money but couldn't do it till the end of the week if your talking about price. Their "fixed price jobs" replacements don't cover me apparently.

I have a 53 plate A3 2.0Tdi. Had the car serviced a couple of months ago at the same back alley garage I have always used and that was fine (good price too), however they didn't reset the service interval and this has now come up on my car when I turn it on.

I have done some googling and read conflicting reports on how to reset it, so was hoping someone here can help me out?

Obligatory pic of the car
