Audi owners in here!

Factory orders are not available on the Mk3 RS, if you'd like one you have to pick from stock there are a lot with some strange specs and colours combos. It seems Audi is limiting numbers less than 200 this year as they are saving engines for the RS3 launch in the US.

"THIS CAR IS A GENUINE STEAL" - Always makes me cautious :p

Price is inline with the car age/spec. Be wary of the 2.0 TFSI at this age though. Speaking from experience, my old one went pop and required a rebuild. They drink oil and have issues with the seals.

Are you Lanarkshire based? (looked at the post code) I'll be putting my A4 up in the next couple of weeks if you fancy that? :p

It's hardly 'fully loaded' and has some cosmetic dings and stuff that will need fixed.

It's also an early pre facelift, 2010/2011 versions had updated LED rear light clusters and possibly more?

Unless the car is dirt cheap, I'd go looking for a better example.

Cheers guys.

Yeah shifty I am, although buying a car from someone who's online name is Shifty gives me heartburn ;)

True that :p

If you're dead set on a petrol, go for the higher powered 1.8 TFSI. They are fairly bulletproof. Mine's has been spot on, a stark contrast to the 2.0 I had before it.

It still feels quick enough if you stick it into sport or use the manual shifters.

So.
Pick up my car tomorrow, 2.7 TDI Multitronic, 62000 miles, full leather interior and a huge plus the full Audi mmi, grey with the 5 spoke alloys.

Couple of questions, I foolishly forgot to ask about connecting my iPhone 6 to it, I listen to internet radio. Do I need a cable or can I play via Bluetooth. Also it has a no SIM card message, so I'm guessing that's connect part. I'll need that for traffic updates on the sat nav etc, yeah?

What are people's thoughts on S4's? (2013 ish onwards)

Are they as crazy expensive for parts as the RS4?

Do they suffer from the carbon build up issues?

I just had to shell out loads getting my vrs intake manifold replaced.

The Octavia didn't suffer from the oil burning issues, does the 3.0 suffer?

Also, please tell me they don't pipe fake exhaust noise through the stereo!!

Edit: or a comparison to the Golf R estate? (Can you turn the fake exhaust noise off in the golf?)

Man, what an absolute beast of a car, well for me! :)

The torque and accelaration is mental, fastest car I have owned to date. Loving the flappy paddle gear changing, and the sport mode is awesome!

Not bad for a ball hair under £8000.

The front drivers side wheel has a slight scuff mark to it, worthwhile getting a refurb done on the wheels? My only concern would be that they wouldn't be the same colour as out of the factory.

Not a bad purchase MarkeR :) The DSG box is great, just make sure it's serviced.

If the scuff mark isn't noticeable, I'd just leave it. Depending on how long you keep it, chances are you'll pick up a couple more blemishes so get it done down the line. The roads are that bad around here, the wheels will be covered in filth all winter, anyway. I've only had my F10 a week and it already looks like I've been rallying it through a swamp.
