My hat isn't that bad! Mind you I have only worn it once for the parrots!

Going to touch some platypus and koalas tomorrow. And feed some kangaroos hopefully! I also want to get close to some spiders and snakes. We will see, I have plenty of time only been here a couple of days.

I don't know about 5UB, but fortunately my girlfriend's sister lives in Cairns, in a 2 bad flat. So for when we go out there, we have only had to pay for flights at approx £1000 return each, spending money, averaging at AU$100 a day. That said, we are taking with us nearly AU$4000, and then we have 4nights in Sydney which is costing us about AU$300.

Give or take, the exchange rate at the moment is around £1 -> AU$1.45 ish

So all in all,

£2000 - flights
AU$4000 - spending money(£2700ish)
AU$300 - Sydney accomm.(£200ish)

= £5000 for 3 weeks.... without a large accommodation cost for us
