Australia - A few photos from my on going trip!

To stop me getting scratched! That is why I was covered. Raining currently but the weather is hot! 29 degrees so pretty warm, 35 on wednesday coming up apparently. :-D

Ah i was wondering, it's the middle of the summer there and you're wrapped up lol.

How much does 3 weeks in Aus set you back roughly?

Me? I am lucky, about 40 dollars so far. So I couldn't really say, I'd say a few grand for flights and hotel, and have plenty of spending money so you can do what you want.

Echidnas are my favourite animal, very jealous!

Was very rare to see in the wild, saw them on my first day here. One was scared of us, the other was digging for massive ants. I have video footage too, will sort them out in a few weeks when I get back.

Nice Pics Steve,

Its hard doing the Horn alone now your down under lol

Bailey

The horn will be back in force when I am back. :)

Change of plan, going to the museum tomorrow, see the spiders, as it may rain tomorrow so going to stay there as there are loads to do indoors. And go to the sanctuary when it is lovely out. :)

Fantastic photos, great to hear you're having such a good time. Victoria is a beautiful place.

:)

Sadly a lot more than it used to due to the awful state of the value of sterling. I paid £3k for 6 weeks 4 years ago, pricing the same trip up today comes in at £6-7k :(

Less to do with sterling, and more to do with the inflated price of the AUD.

Have a great trip OP - my sis has lived in Brighton for the past 20 years and loves it down there.

Glad you are liking the photos, 10am here now, will try and get some more photos up later today or I may wait for tomorrow as I am going to the sanctuary so could upload a lot then. I will see. :)

Just saw the comments regarding how much it costs... that's so freaking expensive! I'd like to visit there are some point, but there are plenty of cool places to visit that aren't so frightening on the wallet.
