Australian GP 2009 - Race 1/17 (NOT in HD BTW)

Not sure if anyone is interested but if you press the red button now on bbc1 and choose multiscreen sport, number 3 is Australian GP but I think its from 1995 and I think they are re-running all of it! Brundle in a McLaren Peugeot, Barrichello in a Jordan Hart :D
If Brundle's in the mobile bomb then it's 94. The MP4/9 was hardly McLaren's finest hour, don't think they managed to get two cars to the finish all season.

Silverstone 94 will go down as probably the best engine blow up of all time - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lQU3Ofs_Dk. I know someone who was sat in the front row of the grandstand, apparantly you could feel the heat

Murray and I think Jonathon Palmer commentating. Not sure how long the wife is going to let me watch it though :D
Just been watching them. Back to '94 atm which is the one I watched online the other day. Great stuff.

correct me if im wrong but diffusers work better the higher the speed yes?
The diffuser will generate more downforce at high speeds but also more drag. Ayrton Senna used to "fly" the active suspension on the 93 McLaren to stall the diffuser and reduce drag on the straights.

Really looking forward to the start of the season this year!!!!

Also, watching these old races from the early/mid 90s, I must say, loving see the cars slide around out of corners etc, and the sparks :D

Also watching them on a 42" plasma, the on screen classification texts etc etc is MASSIVE!!

I guess we all had much smaller TVs then :D

I could try and be really hard and leave home at 5.15 and drive at 80ish to get to the office by 5.25 and watch it whilst working! Hmmmm

It's my last day in the office for a week and I run my own business so busy day!!
