Australian Grand Prix 2010, Melbourne - Race 2/19

Nice to see Davidson back in the commentary box, opinions from a driver's perspective are always good. He also seems to pick up on a lot of things we rant about i.e. drivers saying 'for sure' all the time, F1 should be broadcast in HD etc...

Just heard that Lewis hamiltons road car has been seized by the police.

Driving like a HOON on public roads.

Improper use of a vehicle?
How? As a suppository? A loofah? Using it as a public urinal?

He may as well go to Australia for the GP - walk around the track and then leave for the next race...

If you're as good as Lewis, then being a bit sideways is still being in perfect control off a car.

Stupid jobsworth police people

Interesting....are you seriously contending that racing drivers should be able to ignore the rules of the road just because they're racing drivers? ;)

Note - I happen to think that the Aussie po-po go waaaaaaaaay overboard on fairly minor antics on their roads. But them's the rules, and Lewis ought to have known better.

Sorry but the use of the word "hoon" by officials such as Police is just hilarious :D

Bad luck Hamilton. Sounds like you got nabbed by a jobsworth - and I hear Oz is particularly bad for them!

They need to get the boy a chauffeur driven car. He clearly can't keep his head when he's fresh out onto the road after the track.

mclarens look fast this week, wonder if they have closed the gap any to redbull.

They also seem to ride the bumps the best aswell, which is the complete opposite of last gp.

No I'm saying that what lesser drivers might see as lack of control is not a lack of control.
In order to pull off a perfect powerslide you need to be in more control off the car than just when you are turning normally, and for someone like Lewis that is not pushing the boundaries of what he can do

It was well known they completely ******-up their setup in Bahrain :) Quite unusual of McLaren actually. They're normally pretty consistent.
