Australian Grand Prix 2011, Albert Park Circuit - Race 1/19

Yup, again Button solid and boring, where the car is, Hamilton pushing the car above where it should be, Webber sucking a bit in his car but the best car slightly slow blows almost everything else away, and Vettel like Hamilton pushing the car to its limits and unmatchable.

Alonso it would seem is the same, pushing a not great car way beyond the cars limits but its so bad, he's miles behind.

Those three drivers are just a class above, we need all three in a Red bull for a real competition :p

Vettel didn't use any KERS during that lap.

noticed that too, must have been a graphics error? surly he cant have not used kers to do that.

im not sure if i can be impressed with vettels lap now, its to be expected tbh.

its more impressive in who can get closest.

hammy must be chuffed with 2nd. thursday i bet they were hoping at best a top 6. he needs a great start and to get past vettel in the first couple of corners, if not vettel will just drive away and it will be a comfortable win with how much faster he is.

are mclaren closer this year than they were last year? could they devolop and catch up this season?

I think Vettel might cruise to the title this year!

Was anyone using the live timing this morning btw? Mine broke half way through Q2, was wondering if it was the same for everyone

I dno the difference between him and Webber in the same equipment makes me think that was impressive and scarily easy unfortunately...

ps3ud0

I did wonder, looking at the graphic.

Hamilton up to 2nd. :D

Who expected that from testing?

Now I don't know for sure because he's on my ignore list, but I'm guessing that sunama - who tends to put great stock in testing times - wouldn't have been expecting it at all. I thought they'd struggle to get a car onto the front row, but I wasn't expecting the Ferrari to be quite as crap around here as it looks....

Which live timing?

I was using the Live Timing App on my Desire and it was perfectly fine :)

didnt he write of mclarens season in the last few days of testing?

someone tweet jake about vettels kers see if he will have a look.

hamilton lost kers, thats a few tenths, but still a good gap to vettel.

He's saying Hamilton lost Kers during his lap which would have cost him some time, and it lost him brake balance, depends where he lost it in the lap and how much it effected brakes. Hamilton put in a pretty stunning lap if he didn't have Ker's for most of that lap.

Like I said, I've got him on ignore now. There's enough stupidity in this world without willingly inflicting more on myself ;)

More ammunition for EJ when he goes on his next rant about how KERS shouldn't be in F1....
