the Spirit of the rules (yet again) in these kinds of situations has been completely demolished by Ferrari yet again (not only trying to force JB to lose an additional place - but then to force the drive through by pitting Massa)
Just a thought on the DRS, Coulthard mentioned on numerous occasions that he sees it no different to having a boost button back in the turbo says.
This isn't the first time the cars use the run-off areas, I think there are other tracks where all the cars use a very wide line to maintain speed.
Except the stewards decide, not the FIA - and they had Jonny Herbet to advise them too.
Cars usually get punished if they cut a corner or gain an advantage by going on the inside (off track). I've never seen one punished for going off the track on the outside.
At the very least teams could design the car to suit both drivers equally and let them race.
