Sorry guys, tickets already allocated to a large group of us, it's going to be a great weekend in MelbourneI actually wanted to go for the 4 day grandstand pass but time off work coupled with the lads I'm going with only wanting to attend on Sunday put paid to that idea.
The Webber stand is at the back of the main straight so hoping to get some decent photos of the start, the final corner, and of course along the pit lane opposite. All depends on the fencing though.
By the way, has anyone seen the weather forecast yet? From www.bom.gov.au/vic/forecasts/melbourne.shtml:
All right, it's the long range forecast so not entirely reliable, but if it does turn out to be correct that could make for an interesting opening race...

I think the Merc will be quick over a single lap, but I don't think they've got their tyre deg issues sorted and their ultimate race pace.

Well good enough typing to know you were trying to do BBC coverage not Skys
Beeb are doing highlights again, they are on about 1pm both Sat and Sun if memory serves. Perfect timing to watch highlights and then watch the six nations
Though fingers crossed for a certain website to have full Sky coverage up before six nations as I want to watch the build up.

I think you only need the sky account number that's on their bill
Yep think that's all you need. Just create a Sky Go account and see what it asks for.

Yay, weekends are about to become fun once again, now that my son is 6, im hoping he will take an interest this year and will become our time together, just like i had. If he gets into it im planning my first ever trip to silverstone next year with him for a true daddy time weekend (doesnt live with me, weekend dad 
)

I'm the exact same, but Australia isn't the best test anyway for the cars so hopefully it shouldn't matter too much.
