Australian Grand Prix 2013, Melbourne - Race 1/19

Really will be interesting to see if the Merc's still great off the start(might be that it was just schumi/Rosberg were awesome off the grid), or maybe Red Bull finally fixed that part of the car.

If it rains later, which there is a very good chance of, its really almost anyones races. The guys upfront are often at a disadvantage as they are less willing to take a big chance on the switch to inters/wets, while guys further back often take the gamble and it pays off. It could be several showers, with lots of tyre changes, so who the hell knows what will happen.

Apparently Perez had a puncture on that first super softs run, and so wasn't aware of how poor the track was on slicks so got another pair. I still don't quite buy it as from what I recall, he came in for his second set with around 4 mins to go, and Button was already on his way in. He had time to go around slow, get inters, and go out, might be a excuse for the teams insane decision to put another set of softs on.

I've been up all night, but my body clock was already out of sync, can't wait for the race to start. Hopefully Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg can compete and they don't drop to the midfield during the race.

Empty bladder, coke, but no breakfast.
Why did I not think of this yesterday and wp get some eggs, cheese mushroom and bacon in. If I get desperate I got a packet of walnuts, otherwise it will have to wait till after the race and pop to the local shop.

Ello everyone, I woke up at 5am, watched qualy and then watched my team lose on the football league show highlights (can you call it highlights if they lose?)

Tell me i've not missed the grid walk?

Somebody make me a cuppa please! :)

What down to 21 cars already, Nico Hulkenberg has a fuel system issue, looks like he's out before the race starts. Sky says he's Out.

@knip, no grid walk yet.
