Australian Grand Prix 2014, Melbourne - Race 1/19

Ted's misunderstood the rules I think, car doesn't need to be legal in practice. Hence why you sometimes running with massive sensor rigs hanging off the cars on a Friday.

Only allowed to run sensor rigs in FP1.

As far as I was aware, the rest of the car needed to be legal.

Oh god I didn't know about that, now I need two TVs
So that's one PU stopped, one ERS broken and one unknown issue. In 30minutes.

Ok I'll take my earlier statement back.

Really? That hole in the nose above the O in Casio is the camera?

Interesting.

From Mercedes - An oil pressure alarm led to an automated precautionary shutdown.

Look at that double dong nose:D

More than one. Looks horrid that Toro Rosso and the Force India. Including the hoover Ferrari.

Wow, those engines are not only quiet live at the track, they sound **** on the in-car feed.

The McLaren sounds not bad onboard. Sounds like a grunt growling MP4…

Amazed at how much you can hear the tyres. How did I not hear them in past seasons.

Notice how loud and clear the driver radios are as well due to all this?

Rbr onboard sounds very plain and boring compared to buttons on board, but yet the Williams sounds like the McLaren.

Is it possible they have turned up the volume of microphones, without having very loud engines screaming down it?

You can hear so much more stuff.
