Australian Grand Prix 2014, Melbourne - Race 1/19

Well bundle, said he will be surprised if even half the cars finish.
Am I the only one think the unreliability is being overhyped, yes I'm expecting several DNFs but not half the grid.

If only half the grid finish. then I would expect at least 2-3 failures in practice/qauli, alone to be that unreliable.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see 100% Renault powered failure rate and 33% throughout the rest of the field.

That's just over 50% if my maths work out.

**** of Johnny. Unreliability is enjoyable. As you say it used to be part and parcel of f1 and something I have dearly missed. What would Murray Walkers catch phrase been if he was compensating in the last decade.

Maldonado hopefully, the little **** hope he crashes on his out lap.

I wonder if Renaults will do very few laps in all practices simply to save engines.

Haha, as long as he doesn't collect anyone else which he seems to have expertise in.

Some of you guys are up, was getting worried there might be no discussions.

And rbr car still not legal. Dows this mean they have no sparw wings, meaning they are saving for the race. Although they're saying it's probably illegal even for practice. But I can't see RBR making such mistakes.

Early blow for Lewis after a good pre-season. I'm surprised by the morgue-like reaction from the pitwall though - missing Ross Brawn already?

Ted's misunderstood the rules I think, car doesn't need to be legal in practice. Hence why you sometimes running with massive sensor rigs hanging off the cars on a Friday.
