Funny, the Ferrari looks really planted. The Mercedes still looks twitchy. Hamilton does seem to like a bit of movement though.

That Merc looks horribly stiff. I know Albert Park is hardly a smooth circuit but I predict some horrible locked wheels tomorrow.

Nice one Lewis. Oh dear Ferrari, they don't look great, i think they are going to have problems beating Verstappen never mind the mercs... What a great start by Lando, really chuffed for him and McLaren. Williams...

He was balked by Kubica trying to get back to the pits on three wheels, and the yellow flags with it. He reckoned in the interviews afterwards it cost him at least 3 or 4 tenths, which would have seen him through.

The team that's built the best car for the last few years still has the best car. And somehow this surprised people.

Its funny because of all the measures the FIA have taken to cripple development so it isn't as expensive has resulted in the team who gets the rules right at the beginning dominates forever.
They need to unlock development of the engine again and free testing tbh.

Ferrari tactically sand bagged qualifying, they have 1sec+ ready to unleash for the race.
