Got to hope this is a bogey track for Ferrari or we might as well congratulate Lewis and Mercedes on their Championships already.

The thing is Australia is not really representative a track of most of the race calendar and Ferrari were on top in Bahrain the next race. I think it's telling that the high rake designs of RB and Ferrari really struggled here. It seemed like they simply couldn't get their tyres in the window over 1 lap. It was a similar gap last year as well.

Sadly his time passed as soon as he had that accident. Real shame as he was definitely WDC material.

The cars that can heat up the tyres the best in qually do sometimes end up being the the ones that struggle to keep the temp down in the races...
