Australian masterchef

Im struggling to find the words to say how much I disliked the first episode.

1) No hotties

That is all.

Not really, I didn't like the new starting format, I always enjoy seeing the first episode where they whittle them down.

I don't know whether to stay tuning in or not to be honest.

Go with it. I felt the same for the first couple as you can't relate to anyone, no one seems to stand out and it's all a bit meh. BUT it gets better and it's worth sticking with it.

It really is. We almost didn't carry on a few times, but there was sod all else on, so soldiered on with it. Shows just how far they have come at the end of it though, which is crazy

Playing catch up a little bit, have fallen behind already :o Watched the first 2 eps last night...

Certainly no one in the league of Justine, Kylie or Dani this year :(

I am finding it much easier to find people to dislike than like so far :p

Definitely not a good as previous years but still better than any other countrys offering, and I agree about it being easier to find people to hate than like :)

Who are all these random people and why oh why, is that ginger not in the show properly (sour chherry cake part)

Theres also a nice looking girl with dark ipeye liner and a hat on some of the other segments, well i say nice, no proper shots of her, but froma glimpse she looks interesting.

So going to have to make that fish catalunya dish.

I have no idea why they decided to open Masterclass up to the public this season but I'm not a massive fan of it.

How are we dealing with talking about eliminations and key events in this thread? If it's been on TV is it ok to talk about openly or should it still be spoilered? I'll spoiler for now.

I was disappointed that Dan got eliminated the other night because in terms of concept he at least tried to put himself out there. A bit more time in the kitchen learning as he went and he would have been able to do that dish perfectly. I thought he might have been this season's Callum, a bit quiet and awkward until he found his feet and then believing in himself and becoming a contender.

I think apoilers are fine, people shouldknow not to look until theyve watched it.

Its kelty i wanted to see go. He seems useless and totaly not interested in cooking what he doesnt like. If you want to be a chef, there may well be stuff not on the menu you dislike. Even durhing the master class, he looked totally diss interested from learning.

I don't know how on Earth Kelty made it into the final 22

"The key ingredient for soda bread is baking powder... I don't have any but I'll try make one any way"

"The thing to do with these peas is soak them over night"... Can't do that so just stirs them a lot.

It's that creepy dude I want gone though, Michael I think it is. What is his deal? What has he got to be so smug about all the time :p

Yeah its all a bit odd. Perhaps they didn't select the best.
And e other girl who didn't have the ingredients last night and was like, sod it carry on.
Why. Mind boggling.

Well they could bin off all of the 6 in the elimination and I wouldn't mind so much... especially the first 4.

Decided I'm going to support Lynton, Aussie cowboy helping out his disabled sister, top bloke :p

FFS she of all people shes back in. For the love of God.

By far the worst series so far, dont like the new master class format.
And havent gelled with the contastants.

Do you mean Samira? I think Rishi is a great cook and knows his stuff, so he deserved the immunity pin but I can't stand Samira, she's a bossy cow with a massive chip on her shoulder. One of those people where you feel she believes the world owes her everything. Can't believe she made it back in.
