Austrian Grand Prix 2014, Spielberg - Race 8/19

Thing is, can Lewis overtake Rosberg. Overtaking looks tricky here if the car in front is nearly as/as fast.

Bottas was 14khp faster than Hamilton in speed trap, Hamilton had him with ease in the corners, against Rosberg the speed difference will be very close so if he can get close it will be very different, not necessarily be able to get past him, but he won't lose time down the straights like he did to Bottas.

Of course if Hamilton hadn't lost 1.5seconds in pitstops to Rosberg, it would be easier for Hamilton.

Old track brings out some decent racing. There's a surprise. ;)

Can we have Zolder, Bugatti, Dijon, Estoril, Kyalami, Paul Ricard and Zandvoort back please?

Would love the proper Hockenheim too, but they destroyed the track instead of just leaving it to decay. :( Make it immensely difficult to find the site of Jim Clark's accident. :(

Hamilton closing, but hopefully not hurting the car too much...this is a long stint!

The sooner he's ahead, the longer Rosberg is in his hot air rather than the other way around. If he say passed in the next 3 laps or something by the end of the stint Rosberg would have worse tires/hotter car in general.

btw, I said Merc's into 1-2 into stint 3 when they turn the power up on lower fuel loads and basically blow the Williams away.

Does anybody know the constructors championship payout money, think Williams might tell their drivers to hold position to guarantee the points.

If they have a good season I guess they could get second.

Sounds that way :(

Funny how Hamilton was told his brakes were fine when he was behind a Williams. Now he's behind Rosberg, suddenly there's a problem and he needs to slow.
