What if you have two cars start on softs, the Merc goes 60 laps, but a Mclaren goes 45laps on them. Do you blame Pirelli for frankly Merc cracking something that gives them epic tire life compared to the majority of the grid?

I'm still not at all convinced Hamilton won't two stop as well.
The team should however give Hamilton the first pit and let him undercut, they've utterly screwed him out of track position here for no reason. If they decide to two stop him, which if everyone else pits twice there is no reason for them not to, for safety reasons then they needlessly kept him out 5-6 laps longer than required and had they not done that he'd be miles away from Rosberg.

I've hated sky commentary for a while. I didn't mind Ted but frankly he's just annoying now.
But won't that mean he does one lap after a pitstop?
Pirelli said their aim was to make tyres that ensure at least 2 stops. Currently they are brining tyres that could 0 stop if the rules allowed.
Go listen to Channel 4, you will find a new appreciation for the Sky team.
