Not really, it looks like Hamilton's engineer believes ROsberg was two stopping, he was likely led to believe this. If Rosberg was on a different team there is no way Ham's engineer would think he was one stopping and would have simply pitted 5 laps earlier and come out several seconds ahead of Rosberg with enough margin for a slow pitstop.

They were looking at the Ferraris. Not Rosberg.

This is entirely because they artificially took 1st from Hamilton in the first place to do this, so they are giving it back artificially and they wanted hammer time to make the undercut work easily.

Neither Ferrari was any danger, they were both behind Hamilton having not pitted yet, he was seconds ahead and pitting first would never have had a single issue against either. They pitted eventually to try and get him ahead of Rosberg and they screwed it up.

Both Ham and a little the team screwed that one up though.
