As do Ferrari I suspect, they sandbagged/engine saving on Friday as usual. Car performance is still close i think.

I think Merc now have the car that they hoped to have started the season with. They have been extremely lucky that Ferrari havnt capitalised on the early season balance/tyre issues that merc have had. Not far from the half way point and things seem to be pretty level.

Which upgrades? Are they visible, aero ones or under the hood, engine upgrades?
There is no coverage in the media I see at all - I have watched the practices and haven't noticed anything.

Decent laps, not even perfect laps and they should easily have a 1-2. Looks closer than it is due to the short lap. Unless vettel has a surprise party mode.
