I wonder if Haas can actually get something out of this one? I hope not :p

Oh, and Ericsson is being made to look amateur by leclerc
 
i dont think ferarris strategy is a bad one myself.
they know merc struggle overtaking and are obviously hoping to jump them on lap 1

So he thinks that he was there to help Verstappen go faster?
 
Oh that's cut and dry, Vettel on the racing line and extremely slow on the exit of T1.

Vettel will probably get a reprimand, maybe could be a 3 place grid drop depending on how harsh the stewards are being.
 
Boring race tomorrow since I think the Mercs will just walk it.

If the stewards are consistent that'll be a drop for Vettel. Seen less obvious blocks given it. It's very rare you have to see a driver take evasive action off the track.

Yeah, getting rather irked with his snide comments. He hides snide remarks inside a generally very happy personality.

Max said it and Horner confirmed it, most top teams have a policy, flip coins for first race of the year in who gets to cross line last in qualifying, RBR have had this policy for 7 years. Most teams have this policy for fairness, alternating every race starting with who wins/loses the flip at the start of the season. Ferrari don't because they have much more clear no.1 drivers who get every advantage possible.

Max went first both times last weekend, it's clear as day Ricciardo should go out first both times this weekend. The reasoning was always track evolution means last across the line has the best possible chance for the best time, it's NOT about slipstreaming and never has been. Ricciardo randomly decides Max is getting a tow from multiple seconds back but somehow not getting dirty air in the corners and slowed to try to force Max to pass him on the final warm up lap. Max refused, Max's engineer didn't want Max to go that slow so said to just pass him and get on with it, Max stuck to his guns and waited for Ricciardo to get on with it, Ricciardo probably harmed both their warm up laps for the final run with that.

Riccardo acting like a child, being outperformed again in qualifying and thought Max was gaining an advantage. Pressure starting to show maybe?

While the reality is that it is a small miracle by Sebastian that he somehow still manages to stay in the competition.
Don't forget how the season started in Australia with tremendous point six of a second commanding lead in the qualifying alone.
