Totally don't agree with that penalty for Hamilton but it made for an explosive finish. Leclerc 2nd in that Ferrari - stonking - and blistering pace from Norris.

I think that Albon would have won if he hadn't caused that accident.

He was carrying too much speed and drifted wide.

Other cars managed to get through side by side...

Seemed to me like a racing incident. Hamilton couldn’t have done anything else. Always the risk if you choose the outside surely. They’d have good reason to challenge it.

Presumably the expectation is that he could have backed out of the throttle slightly which would have prevented the car pushing as wide as it did and would have effectively yielded the position

Oh come off it guys, Hamilton could have eased off, turned slightly towards apex and gave Albon room.

But he did what he often does when he has someone on his outside - run them wide.

Penalty is deserved imo.
