My dad has an Omega MV6 (ex-police) with an auto box, but it can do some crazy stuff in sports mode. I haven't had the pleasure of driving it yet, but from what he tells me you put anything more than the slightest pressure on the accelerator, it drops down a gear, the revs rise to ~6000 and you take off like a rocket! We don't know the history of this car, it was a cheapy from a car auction, but it seems far too mad to be standard.

So auto boxes don't seem too bad in my book!

This is true.

I don't want a Diablo anyway. I am not going to justify my decision with rational arguments. There is only one reason for me to get one.

I have wanted one for years and yes I have driven one and loved it. I care not that it isn't very useable. Just look at the damn things! They are gorgeous. Not to mention how they sound.

Can't afford a Diable anyway.

My dads XKR is Auto and its faster than the manual version.... good enough for me.

I personally prefer manual cars for the time being.

Anyone kno who wmuch a ferrari 360 spider retials at. Bout 80k aint it. Its a lovely car. I want one but i dont think i will ever own my own but its one of my aims in life.

Im in to the 360 quite a lot so hopefully will be able to pick one up at one stage one ive had a few no claims bonuses.

Anyone know if theres a 355 out there for bout 40k. And is it worth it. Runnin costs wouldnt be an issue. I would prob have the worth possible diesel car to get from a-b. But i will always have an ambition to get a ferrari but i hope its possible.

Edit just seen second hand 360's and there al about 70 grand. Aint bad. That almost as much as a house. Wonder ho wmany miles to the gallon it does. Bout 15
